Omarosa Says Mike Pence 'Thinks Jesus Tells Him To Say Things'

Who would have thought it might actually get worse.

Everyone knew Omarosa's stint on Celebrity Big Brother would give us the inside scoop on life inside the White House. Now the former staffer says a country run by current Vice President Mike Pence would actually be worse than the one we've got, according to HuffPost.

On Monday's episode, excerpted above, the one-time Office of Public Liaison communications director for the Trump administration offered up a pretty grim next step if people's wish for an impeachment were to happen. "As bad as y’all think Trump is," she warned her housemates, "you would be worried about Pence.” She insisted that those hoping for the President's removal "may want to reconsider."

"We would be begging for the days of Trump back if Pence became president,” she says in the episode surrounded by her mostly liberal housemates. “Pence is extreme. I’m Christian. I love Jesus. But he thinks Jesus tells him to say things. I’m like, ‘Jesus isn’t saying that.’” It's hard to imagine a worse situation than what is currently going on, but Pence is notorious for his stance against LGBT issues and reproductive rights.

Here's a longer clip:

It was only a few weeks ago that Omarosa was working in the Oval Office, so it's sort of scary information about what the day-to-day functions of the administration still look like. Though her housemate Mark McGrath seemed convinced Omarosa was using her reality TV expertise to spin a salacious story, it doesn't sound that far outside the realm of possibility. In the clip, Omarosa continued by adding a warning about Trump's crackdown on illegal immigration getting even worse. "The DACA piece came as a result of him wanting his wall," she explained. "I've seen the plan. The roundup plan is getting more and more aggressive."
