Naked Woman Arrested After Allegedly Attacking Cop and Running Him Over With His SUV

A 34-year-old naked woman allegedly attacked a Chicago Police Officer before stealing his SUV and driving over him in an attempt to escape.

Per the Chicago Sun Times, the officer on Monday initially responded to reports of gunfire at 9:49 a.m. near Chicago’s Jackson Boulevard and Kildare Avenue when he discovered the woman, who hasn't been identified, lying in the street. As the cop approached her and tried to help, she allegedly “charged at the officer, assaulted the officer, got in his squad car,” and ran over him before fleeing onto the Eisenhower Expressway.

The woman got three miles out before she crashed into a white Sedan near Stroger Hospital, where she was taken to be treated for her injuries and undergo a psychological evaluation. The officer she ran over was also taken to that same hospital, where, according to Chicago Police Superintendant David Brown, he was treated for minor injuries. He reportedly suffered a laceration to his head and a leg injury and has since been released.

“The officer was run over by this woman—legs received some type of injuries as well as a laceration to the head,” Brown said in a press conference.“The officer is in the hospital being treated as we speak. We’ll get more updates as we learn more. We don’t know why the woman was laying in the street unclothed. We don’t know the circumstances yet.”

Officials said charges were pending but that the woman hadn’t yet been charged with a crime.
