White Trump Supporter Arrested After Using Racist Slurs, Threatening Black Woman in NY

A white Donald Trump supporter in New York was arrested after threatening a black woman and using racist slurs.

Donald Trump has had a rough week, but let's take our minds off that and focus on some of his proudly-deplorable supporters, like the white Trump supporter who was recently arrested for threatening a black woman.

"Trump is going to win and if you don't like it I'm going to beat your ass, [racist slur]," a white man said to a black woman in New York, according to the Albany Times-Union. Wow.

At around 8:20 p.m. on Monday night, police got a 911 call from a ShopRite grocery store in Albany, New York asking for help dealing with the Trump supporter. Todd M. Warnken, a 55-year-old white guy, had been told to leave the grocery store after he was "being disruptive inside."

Once outside in the grocery store's parking lot, Warnken started harassing a black woman who was waiting for a taxi cab. According to Albany police spokesperson Steve Smith, that's when Warnken yelled racist slurs at the woman and threatened to "beat your ass" if she didn't like that "Trump is going to win."

Police interviewed the victim and others who were hanging around the grocery store. Warnken was arrested nearby and charged with misdemeanor aggravated harassment, according to the Albany Times-Union. He was arraigned in Albany City Court.

This isn't the first time that Trump supporters have made the news for violence or threats of violence. In September, a Trump supporter in North Carolina hit three different protesters, including a woman, who were being escorted out of the rally—the victims were still kicked out, but the violent supporter was allowed to stay. Shortly before that incident, a Trump supporter in Brooklyn allegedly attacked two Muslim women who were pushing their babies in strollers. Other Trump supporters have called for a black protester to be burned alive.
