Charles Manson, the 82-year-old former cult leader who's currently serving nine-consecutive life sentences, is being treated in a hospital in Bakersfield, California for an undisclosed medical condition according to the Los Angeles Times.

While there's no word on what his condition truly is (primarily because the sources speaking on his situation are remaining anonymous), this has to be far from the ideal way Manson wanted to be allowed to leave prison. He's been denied parole 12 times since 1979 for the murders of seven people (including Sharon Tate, who was married to director Roman Polanski) in 1969. Manson was originally sentenced to death, but due to the death penalty being overturned in 1972, his sentence was commuted to life in prison with possibility for parole.

While we wait for more information regarding what exactly is going on with Manson, here's a taste of how Twitter reacted to the news of his illness.

Twitter will forever stay savage; never change.
