Jeremy 'Hot Mugshot Guy' Meeks Facing Divorce After Cheating Scandal

Ever since photos of Jeremy Meeks, a.k.a. "hot mugshot guy," emerged back in 2014, he’s enjoyed a ton of interest from the public. The internet’s collective thirst for Meeks helped him land a modeling contract soon after he was released from prison last summer. Since then, he’s walked in New York Fashion Week and was even pictured next to Nicki Minaj in Cannes. But what many may not know is that Meeks was a married man—well, at least until now.

Meeks, 33, was caught hooking up with Chloe Green, 26, a British socialite and Topshop heiress by the Daily Mail at the beginning of July on a boat in Turkey. Melissa Meeks, 38, who is also the mother to Meeks’ three kids, was alerted to these photos of her husband’s infidelity by a stranger on Instagram, and she was pissed.

“We had it out on the doorstep. I told him how devastated and angry I am. He kept apologizing—not for the affair, but for the way I learned about it,” Melissa told the Daily Mail. “I feel humiliated, not just because my husband was caught with another woman but for the fact they were so brazen about it.”

“He told me, 'I didn’t mean it to happen like this.' Those pictures will haunt me forever,” she continued. “He kept saying, 'I’m sorry, you didn’t deserve this.' We talked about divorce. I told him I didn’t think the marriage could be saved. He agreed. The marriage is over.”

Melissa was reportedly upset over her then-husband’s quick rise to fame ever since he was still locked up. A friend of Melissa’s told CBS Sacramento that Melissa was “furious” that “people are taking [his imprisonment] as a joke, thinking it’s funny talking about his looks.” Unfortunately it seems like the his stardom has gone to Meeks’ head now, too.
