Walmart is in hot water after signage for their back-to-school campaign, "Own The School Year Like A Hero," appeared to be hanging above a gun display in one of their stores.
The sign for the "Own the School Year Like a Hero" campaign, which features DC Comics crime-fighting superheroes, such as Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, has been removed, but the backlash has just begun.
Walmart has done their best to respond to each and every person bothered by this discovery, expressing their regret over the matter and promising to look into the situation.
This isn't the first time the popular superstore has been forced to answer for some questionable behavior. Just last month, Walmart was embroiled in another controversy when a third party seller listed an item on the retailer's website with an incredibly racist description.
