The official cause of death for Tommy Lee Jones' daughter, Victoria Jones, is not yet in, but 911 dispatch audio is shedding light on what happened to her.
Victoria died tragically in a San Francisco hotel, the Fairmont, on New Year's Day.
According to The New York Post, the dispatch audio reveals that Victoria, 34, "died from a suspected drug overdose when she was found unresponsive on the floor at a San Francisco hotel." At least, that's according to initial perceptions at the scene.
TMZ posted the audio, revealing that the call came in as a "code 3 for the overdose, color change." Police officers responded in the early morning hours for a report of a deceased person and found paramedics working on Victoria, TMZ reported.
The medical examiner will determine the formal cause of death for Victoria.
Victoria struggled with drug issues, The Post reported, saying she "was arrested on drug-related charges earlier this year — one of three arrests in a matter of months.
According to People, in April, she was arrested in California on allegations of "obstructing a peace officer, being under the influence of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, and possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription." She pleaded not guilty.
In June, she was "charged with misdemeanor domestic battery" and again pleaded not guilty, People reported.
Victoria was the daughter of the actor and his ex-wife Kimberlea Cloughley, People added, noting that she had roles in some of his movies.
NBC Bay Area reported that Victoria's body was found in a hallway of the hotel, and police do not suspect foul play.
Tommy Lee had two kids, Victoria and son Austin. Both are his kids with Cloughley. Tommy Lee is currently remarried to his wife, Dawn Laurel-Jones.
