Taylor Fritz is the fourth-ranked men's tennis player in the world, and he's raked in more than $26 million in career earnings.
He's back on the court on Aug. 31 at the U.S. Open. But Fritz, 27, of the U.S., gets attention for his girlfriend, Morgan Riddle, not just his tennis. The New York Times even dubbed her "the most famous woman in men's tennis."
Riddle is a model and influencer who is known for her head-turning outfits in the stands while attending Fritz's tennis tournaments.
As the U.S. Open is located in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, New York, it's perhaps not surprising that one of Riddle's recent outfits was an ode to the Big Apple.
On Instagram, where she has 471,000 followers, Riddle posted photos showing her in a white tank top with the words New York forming an apple decal. "right to the core 🍎," she captioned the post.
Riddle had New York, apple, and taxi pins fastened to the back pocket of her high-waisted jeans. The carousel of photos, which she posted on Aug. 29, showed her at the U.S. Open.
Riddle has been showing off a series of fashions at the tournament. She posted a collage of photos on Aug. 24 showing her in different looks and included a video of Fritz lifting her up as she wore a black dress.
The Times described Riddle as a "niche celebrity" at men's professional tennis matches.
She previously caused controversy with her comments on TikTok about tennis no longer being cool.
"On a mission to make tennis cool again," she wrote, filling the video with photos showing her in different outfits.
“I’m Morgan, I tour the world with my boyfriend,” she said in the video, which Fritz later defended.
“I know tennis is relatively uncool and unknown in America," she added.
Fritz said in a press conference that his girlfriend's comments were "awesome" for the sport. Fritz, who is divorced with a child, met Riddle on a dating app.
