A Miss Universe contestant took a bad fall while on stage, and it was captured on video.

The video, which was posted to Instagram, shows Miss Jamaica, Dr. Gabrielle Henry, strutting forward in an orange gown, fluttering her outfit's shawl like butterfly wings. Then, suddenly, she tumbles completely off the stage.

"Fell off the Stage!!" the page that posted the video wrote.

Miss Jamaica fell "during the Miss Universe preliminary evening gown round in Thailand," according to The New York Post, which noted that the competition was occurring in Bangkok.

Another video, which circulated on X, showed people rushing to assist and then removing Miss Jamaica by stretcher, to applause from people in the audience.

The official Miss Jamaica Instagram page confirmed the incident and gave an update on her condition.

"The Miss Universe Jamaica Organization wishes to advise the public that Dr. Gabrielle Henry, Miss Universe Jamaica 2025, experienced a fall from the main stage during the evening gown round of the preliminary competition ahead of this weekend’s Miss Universe Finals in Thailand," the page wrote.

"She was rushed to the Paolo Rangsit Hospital, where medical professionals are attending to her care and have advised that she is not suffering from any life-threatening injuries; however, they continue to conduct tests to ensure her full recovery," the page added.

"We kindly ask everyone to stay upbeat, lift her in prayer, and send positive thoughts as she receives the necessary medical care. We thank everyone for their outpouring of love, support, and continued prayers," the page wrote, without explaining what caused the fall.

People offered well-wishes in the comment thread. "Praying for you beautiful Queen. ❤️ You looked so stunning in gown," wrote one person.
