It has been a very challenging and heartbreaking last couple of months for popular TikTok star and chef Tineke “Tini” Younger. Younger and her husband, Antoine Wright Jr., lost one of their twin daughters after a placental abruption in November 2025.
After informing fans of the loss through Instagram on November 26, Younger announced that she would be taking some time away from social media.
She later returned to social media on January 3 to provide an update on her family. She would also express frustration over those who have used social media to criticize her viral recipes in the midst of this difficult time.
Younger is particularly well known for her massively viral mac and cheese recipe, which has gained millions of views on TikTok. However, some critics have come forward to speculate that Younger, a trained chef, got the recipe from her husband’s family rather than developing it on her own.
The 24-year-old posted on her Instagram story to refute these claims, while also acknowledging how trivial such accusations are during this period of her life.
“This is the least of my problems because it’s literally Mac n cheese,” she began.
“Antoine’s mom did not teach me how to make it, it’s not her recipe. I literally have a video teaching my in laws how to make MY recipe to Mac n cheese. People like to believe things when it comes from a 3rd party instead of the actual person,” she went on.
Younger went on to call out those who have brought her recent loss into the drama.
“I hope you rot in hell no sugar coat,” she noted.
The TikTok star previously acknowledged that her surviving daughter is doing well and that she is continuing to heal and work through her loss alongside her family.
