Tensions are reportedly brewing between the Kardashian family and Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The drama is stemming from photos taken of Markle and Harry during Kris Jenner’s recent 70th birthday party. Both Jenner and Kim Kardashian shared these photos on their Instagram pages along with a series of other photos from the party. However, the royal couple reportedly later asked Kardashian and Jenner to remove the photos. The photos have since been deleted.
According to an inside source for Page Six, the Kardashian family believes that the photo drama is “overshadowing” what was meant to be a celebration for Jenner in honor of her milestone birthday. The insider also told the outlet that the family is “getting annoyed with the Sussex camp” over the situation.
But the drama doesn’t end there. There are conflicting reports circulating about whether or not there was a consent form at the party that asked guests for permission for photos taken at the event to be shared publicly. Some reports have suggested that there was not only a consent form, but that Markle and Harry marked “no.” However, other reports claim that this is just a rumor and that there was never any consent form.
It’s still not clear why Markle and Harry requested that the photos taken of them be deleted from social media.
Neither the Kardashian family nor the Sussexes has commented yet on the situation.
Jenner’s lavish birthday party was held at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s massive, $175 million mansion located in Beverly Hills. The event was attended by a slew of A-list celebrities, including Oprah Winfrey, Mariah Carey, and Mark Zuckerberg.
