Full House and Fuller House star Candace Cameron Bure is 49 years old, yet many social media commenters claim that she and her daughter, 27-year-old Natasha Bure Perry, could easily pass as sisters.
Candace has always been honest about the struggles and pressures of living in the public eye, particularly while growing up as a child actress.
Now, she’s getting real about her experience with aging and doing what she believes will help her to feel like the most confident version of herself.
In a recent interview, Candace revealed her decision to get Botox.
“I’m going to be honest with you: I got some Botox,” she said.
“I was trying to fight this good fight,” she went on, “Yet I was looking at my face getting more and more wrinkles, and I just wanted to get Botox.”
Despite her choice to have this procedure, Candace emphasized that her goal is still to try to “age as naturally as possible.” However, she also noted that she believes that everyone should do what feels right for them when it comes to decisions like these.
She went on to express that she is happy with her decision and that she feels “better for it.”
“I’ve always said I think everyone should age however they want to age. I don’t know how I’m going to feel in 10 years — if I want to get a facelift, I’ll get a facelift,” she said.
However, the television star also expressed the importance of prioritizing one’s physical and emotional health, especially when aging, and acknowledged her gratitude that she is still physically able to work out.
“Moving your body is a gift, not a given,” she said.
