On Friday morning, yet another school shooting took place at Santa Fe High School near Houston, Texas.

As has become the norm in this far too frequently played out scenario, hundreds of thousands of people, including celebrities, athletes, and musicians, took to their social media accounts afterward to express some form of contempt, sympathy, outrage, or outright hopelessness:

Friday's massacre marked the 22nd school shooting of 2018, according to CNN. As for the shooter, he has been identified as 17-year-old Dimitrios Pagourtzis:

As you can see in the tweet above, he is in custody and has been charged with capital murder and aggravated assault of a police officer.
