The Maison Martell Experience was one of the standout spaces at Ghana’s AfroFuture Festival, which took place in December across two vibrant days in the city of Accra. The event brought people together through creativity, culture and shared moments, with festivalgoers from all over Ghana and across the global diaspora filling the grounds.

Set within AfroFuture’s 2025 theme, African Nostalgia, the experience blended art, music and fashion in a way that felt natural to the festival’s energy. From the moment guests arrived, there was always something happening—live art by Moh Awudu, bold installations, photo moments, a buzzing bar and an interactive spin-and-win experience that kept people coming back throughout the day and into the night. For those looking to go a little deeper, Martell created a dedicated brand immersion room led by Leah Attfield. Here, guests were invited to learn more about the Maison’s heritage and art de vivre in a relaxed, guided setting. Cocktail-making sessions followed, giving attendees a hands-on way to connect, create and celebrate together.

The VVIP area offered a more elevated experience, complete with a private bar and bottle service. It quickly became a popular meeting point for creators, cultural leaders and special guests who wanted a premium festival moment without losing the spirit of AfroFuture.

Across both days, AfroFuture Festival welcomed thousands of attendees, with headline performances from Asake and Rema, alongside a strong lineup of artists and DJs that kept the energy high from start to finish. Throughout it all, the Maison Martell Experience was a central hub—a place where culture, craftsmanship and community naturally came together.

“AfroFuture has always been about creating experiences that bring people together and reflect the richness of our culture,” said Abdul Abdullah, co-founder of AfroFuture and Martell Cultural Ambassador. “Martell has believed in that vision from the very beginning. Their continued support allows us to keep building spaces rooted in community, creativity and shared experience—and to grow AfroFuture in a way that feels authentic to who we are.”

Lanre Odutola, Head of Culture & Global Partnerships at Martell, added: “AfroFuture represents the same audacious spirit that defines Martell, a willingness to push boundaries, honour heritage and create experiences that resonate deeply with people. Seeing how the Maison Martell Experience was embraced in Accra reinforces the importance of supporting platforms like AfroFuture, where culture is celebrated and actively shaped through community and creativity.”

As AfroFuture continues to grow as a global cultural platform, Martell’s presence at the 2025 edition reinforced its long-term commitment to African creativity, heritage and community—leaving attendees with memories that went far beyond the music.
