Los Angeles-based non-alcoholic beer brand Easy Does It is expanding its lineup with the release of Original Gold, a Mexican-style NA lager that marks the company’s second permanent offering.
Founded by professional skateboarder Erik Ellington alongside Kellen Roland and Jon Warren, Easy Does It has positioned itself as a counterculture-driven brand focused on delivering full-flavor beer without alcohol. Since launching, the company has built momentum across Southern California, landing in more than 150 accounts through a grassroots approach rooted in community, nightlife, and everyday social settings.
Original Gold builds on that foundation, tapping into a style long associated with casual, social drinking—from backyard kickbacks and beach days to taquerias and dive bars. While Mexican-style lagers have remained a staple in traditional beer culture, the format has been largely overlooked in the non-alcoholic space.
“We grew up on backyard kickbacks and house parties, that whole 80’s and 90’s energy. That culture never made its way into NA beer and that's what Easy Does It is about,” Ellington said in a press release. “The American lager is the foundation. The Mexican cerveza was inevitable. We’re building something that belongs next to all beer, not just NA. We’re not here to tell anyone how to live. That's your business. Ours is making something worth it when you do.”
Brewed for a clean, balanced, and easy-drinking profile, Original Gold is designed to fit seamlessly into the same occasions where cerveza has always been part of the experience.
The beer will be available in 12-ounce six-packs, priced at $13.99.
