A Chinese man was so desperate to escape his girlfriend that he threw himself through a window.
A clip that's been circulating the internet shows the man attempting to jump through the window and failing before trying a second time and succeeding.
TMZ reports that the incident happened in a hotel in the Yuhua District of Changsha City, Hunan Province, at the beginning of April. Hotel footage shows the man talking with a woman before flinging his body against the glass.
it's unclear exactly what they’re discussing, but it appears the man thought his best tactic was to exit—and quickly. Another camera from across the street showed him crashing onto the sidewalk before running off. There apparently was a door close by that was open, so it’s surprising the man chose to flee in this manner.
According to police, the man and woman were a couple and not strangers, and his reaction was spurred by an argument. Authorities didn’t get involved because no one filed a report, and the man paid for the window to be fixed.
