Local police made a big cocaine bust on Interstate 85, in South Carolina.

It all went down when deputies from the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office pulled over a couple during a “proactive patrol” on the highway, the New York Post reports. It appeared as if the woman in the vehicle, Cemeka Mitchem, was pregnant. But when police asked her and her companion, Anthony Miller about her due date, they allegedly gave officers information that was "conflicting."

Police became more suspicious of the couple's story, and when Mitchem saw that the deputies didn’t believe them, they both fled. When Mitchem ran away, the cocaine she was carrying in her fake rubber pregnant belly fell on the ground. Officers seized the drugs and eventually caught her as well.

The sheriff’s office believes the two were concealing over 1,500 grams of cocaine when they were pulled over. Mitchem and Miller were arrested and both will be hit with cocaine trafficking charges.

According to the Post, Interstate 85 is becoming a favorite amongst drug traffickers. In February, officers arrested a man who is accused of trafficking over 500 grams of cocaine, with another seizure of 108 pounds of cocaine, and another 48 pounds also contributing to the interstate's infamous reputation.

Meanwhile in international waters, Italian police discovered over two tons of cocaine floating in the sea off eastern Sicily, wrapped in protective plastic. Authorities believe that the drugs are worth almost $450 million.
