A shooting took place on Saturday near Austin, Texas’ South by Southwest festival on early Sunday morning, leaving four people injured, Variety reports.
The Austin Police Department initially tweeted that the suspect was “still at large” and directed the public to “avoid the area.” The shooting happened at the intersection of East 6th and Neches streets.
The police shared that there is not any “current threat to the public.” The suspect was taken into custody at around 5 a.m. local time.
EMS revealed that all four of those injured in the shooting was taken to a local hospital and that none of the victims were anticipated to have life-threatening injuries.
A second shooting possibly occurred nearby, at East 7th and Sabine streets, with Austin city officials advising the public to avoid that area as well.
