An American Airlines flight carrying four politicians to Washington, D.C., was forced to make an emergency stop due to a “disruptive” passenger.

TMZ reports that on Wednesday night, Republican Reps. Eli Crane, Andy Biggs, and Paul Gosar, and Democratic Rep. Greg Stanton were on the flight headed from Phoenix to the capital city.

The plane was diverted to Kansas City, Missouri, when a passenger became unruly.

Stanton tweeted about the incident, writing, “Flying to DC rn to vote no on CR that fails to lower health care costs. @RepEliCrane, @RepAndyBiggsAZ & @RepGosar all on this flight. We’re making emergency stop in Kansas City to remove disruptive passenger. None of my colleagues is the disruptor. Freedom Caucus losing its mojo.”

A clip shared by X user @Adam_Burtner, who appeared to be on the flight, showed the woman being escorted off the plane by police.

“Sorry folks,” she said. “We live in a fascist state.”

It’s unclear what the passenger did or said to force an emergency stop. Another video from Page Six shows at least three Kansas City Police Department officers boarding the plane to remove the woman.

An American Airlines rep told TMZ, “Police removed the passenger from the plane in Kansas City before the aircraft took off again to its final destination, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, where it landed safely.”
