Food influencer Keith Lee is no stranger to creating viral meal content, but his latest video targets his wife in a hilarious prank.

Lee, who has established himself as one of the internet's most famous food critics, recently posted a video where he attempts to trick his wife into believing he spent $20,000 on a single pair of shoes.

Lee sets the prank up by first showing viewers a pair of Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Wizard of Oz Ruby Red Slippers.’ Lee says one of his friends picked up the pair of shoes at Sneaker Con Dallas, but his wife Ronni was unable to attend the event because she's eight months pregnant.

Lee says, "I don't ever spend money on myself, so I didn't grab them for myself. But, I'm going to tell my wife that I did and she's about to freak out."

Lee then brings the shoes inside, telling Ronni he got them. She immediately asks, "How much?" Assuming they may have been around $3,000.

Lee replies by saying he paid $20,000 and Ronni replies, "Get the f*** out." Lee continues to try and convince Ronni he actually paid the crazy amount for the shoe, only to get a death stare.

Ronni starts to do her own detective work, checking the online market for the shoe before Lee confesses, "I'm lying. I'm lying."

Clearly relieved, the two start to laugh about the prank before Lee admits he only spent $600 at the event—buying two pairs of shoes at Sneaker Con.

However, Lee says his friend who he attended Sneaker Con and sells shoes for a living actually did buy the shoes for $20,000 to sell to another potential buyer.

Lee and Ronni end the prank video with a high-five, signifying all is well is well after the harmless prank.
