Annie Knight spoke out about Bonnie Blue’s recent arrest in Bali, addressing the situation publicly after reports surfaced that local authorities detained the controversial OnlyFans figure during a trip tied to her ongoing “Bang Bus” branding.
She was questioned as part of a police operation targeting foreign nationals suspected of working illegally as content creators. Indonesia maintains strict morality laws, and sex work—including the production of pornographic material—is illegal.
Blue, along with several men, was taken into custody in Kuta. Some individuals were released without charge, while Blue and a small number of others reportedly remained detained as authorities reviewed the situation.
After news of the arrest broke, OnlyFans creator Annie Knight—who previously collaborated with Blue—shared her reaction in an interview with Us Weekly. Knight was direct about how preventable she believed the situation was.
“In my industry, anytime you go overseas, you have to be aware of the laws surrounding sex work in the country you are visiting,” Knight said. “I always am super thorough with my research whenever I travel, and make sure to be extra cautious. I’d never do my job in a country where my work is illegal and I just would never risk myself like that.”
Knight explained that Blue’s arrest did not surprise her, noting that the potential consequences were clear well before the trip. “Honestly, Bonnie being arrested really didn’t shock me,” she told the outlet. “Bonnie went to Bali, a country where sex work is illegal, and despite knowing that, she still chose to do it and break the law.”
Knight added that she had attempted to caution Blue beforehand. “Being arrested was always going to be a risk, and I did try to warn her, but she didn’t listen, and now she is experiencing the repercussions,” Knight said. Still, she acknowledged the seriousness of the situation, adding, “That being said, it must be absolutely terrifying being arrested in a different country, and I really hope she is OK.”
In a separate comment, Knight summarized her stance more bluntly: “She heard my warnings and chose to ignore them, so it’s hard to feel sorry for her. She made her bed, and now she’s lying in it.”
Blue has remained a lightning rod for controversy throughout 2025. She was banned from OnlyFans after announcing a planned “petting zoo” stunt, which the platform said violated its Acceptable Use Policy by promoting extreme challenge-based content.
