Fire and Fury author Michael Wolff has stirred up a lot of controversy over his book, which makes some astonishing claims about Donald Trump and the rest of his administration. Trump has, of course, denied everything that's been said in the book. He's tweeted about the book numerous times already, calling it a "Fake Book" and saying that Wolff is "a total loser who made up stories in order to sell this really boring and untruthful book."
The book, Fire and Fury, is based on Wolff's experiences inside the White House West Wing, featuring interviews with over 200 people, supposedly including Trump himself. Trump hasn't kept quiet about the claims in the book since parts of it were previewed before its recent release. However, Wolff is doubling down on some of the book's most outlandish claims, going so far as to tell The Daily Mail that Trump's mental state is a constant concern for White House staff. Some believe the 71-year-old President has dementia, learning disabilities, and even attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
A lot of the more controversial material in the book has stemmed from Wolff's talks with Steve Bannon. The Breitbart executive chairman and former White House top strategist has since apologized for the comments he made about the Trump family and his administration in the book, with New York Post reporting that his support for Trump is "unwavering."
Trump dismissed everything Bannon said in the book, claiming in a statement that when "he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind." This morning, Trump has went on another Twitter rant randomly comparing himself to Ronald Reagan—and not at all disproving the ADHD claim.
