Deadly Northern California Fires Finally Contained

The Camp Fire of Northern California has been forcing people to leave their homes for over two weeks now, but California fire authorities have revealed that it's now finally 100 percent contained. The fire has displaced a high number of people and killed 85, making it the deadliest and most destructive fire in California history.

The first, which burned across 154,000 acres in Northern California, destroyed nearly 14,000 homes since it started. The 271-missing count is continually falling as people get into contact with one another, but it's likely that people will remain missing or be confirmed among rising death toll. Chuck Williams, who has been handling dogs searching for remains in the town of Paradise, told NPR, "It's like being in a war zone."
