Daniel Penny has been found not guilty in the death of Jordan Neely, who he killed after placing him in a chokehold on a New York City subway car in 2023.

As reported by CBS News, the 26-year-old Marine veteran was found not guilty of criminally negligent homicide on Monday, December 9. Penny pleaded not guilty to the homicide charge and the second-degree manslaughter charge, which was dismissed by the judge when jurors failed to come to a unanimous decision.
