Tim Stokely, the founder and CEO of OnlyFans, has stepped down from his position to “pursue new endeavors,” the platform shared on Tuesday.

Amrapali “Ami” Gan, OnlyFans’ chief marketing and communications officer since 2020, will take his place as CEO of the company.

“Gan will assume the day-to-day leadership of the Company from Tim Stokely, who will be stepping down to pursue new endeavors,” OnlyFans wrote in a news release. “Stokely has led the company for the last five years and appointed Gan to continue the company’s growth and drive its vision and commitment to empowering creators.”

Stokely will stay on board with the billion-dollar company he launched in 2016, acting as an advisor to guide the transition, according to OnlyFans. Gan said she is “proud” to take on her new position. She previously worked at Red Bull and Quest Nutrition, and Stokely said she “brings a fresh energy and reflects who we are as a business.”

“I look forward to continuing to work closely with our creator community to help them maximize control over, and monetise, their content,” Gan said. “I will be leading an exceptionally talented team at OnlyFans that is delivering a unique experience for our creators and fans. By blending state of the art technology with creative capital, we are committed to being the safest social media platform in the world.”
