JonBenét Ramsey’s Father Denies Viral Jeffrey Epstein Conspiracy Theory

He rejects claims spreading on TikTok as false as the decades-old murder case remains unsolved.

JonBenét Ramsey's father is shutting down a viral conspiracy theory that falsely links her to the late pedofile Jeffrey Epstein.

A viral TikTok claims that JonBenét appears in the Epstein Files and alleges she is the girl seen sitting on Epstein's shoulders in a redacted photo from his New York City residence. The TikTok also suggests Ghislaine Maxwell attended JonBenét's sixth birthday party.

However, JonBenét's father says the theory is false.

In a statement shared with TMZ, John Ramsey says, “Absolutely no truth to it. I haven't seen this, but with A.l. anything is possible. I figured one of these days I would be accused of being an Epstein pal. Hasn't happened yet. Internet people can be very cruel."

The photo cited by the video is described by the DOJ as coming from Epstein's New York home and appears to show a child who resembles JonBenét, though the image is redacted.

JonBenét was found strangled in the basement of her Boulder, Colorado, home the day after Christmas in 1996, wrapped in a blanket with a cord around her neck and tape over her mouth.

Boulder police focused on John and Patsy Ramsey as suspects and a grand jury voted to indict them in 1999. However, prosecutors declined to file charges due to insufficient evidence. In 2008, two years after Patsy’s death from ovarian cancer, new DNA technology cleared John, Patsy, and their son Burke of the crime.

Although the infamous case remains unsolved, Boulder police last month said the investigation remains active and “a top priority” for the department with new interviews and retested evidence using modern forensic methods.
