On Wednesday afternoon, a majority of U.S. citizens with cell phones were sent a test for a presidential alert system directly to our mobile phones. Immediately people went on Twitter to raise concerns over Donald Trump's ability to mass text everyone without our consent.

A few people, however, received slightly different presidential alerts.

Others pointed to various reasons why the Trump administration shouldn't be texting everyone.

And some lucky assholes didn't get the message at all.

Unfortunately, according to Wired, you truly cannot opt out of any future, unwanted presidential alerts. Even though there's an option to turn off amber alerts and other emergency notifications on iPhones and Androids, the presidential alert system is an exception.

More importantly though:

Since apparently everyone has time in the middle of a Wednesday, the memes have already started to snowball. Check out a few *fun* ones below.
