The NBA Play-In Tournament will wrap up Friday night with a pair of win-or-go-home contests. Charlotte will face the Magic in Orlando in the first tilt, while Golden State will take on the Suns in Phoenix in the nightcap. Below, we will take a glance at both games from a betting perspective.

Charlotte Hornets at Orlando Magic
Start time/TV: 7:30 p.m. ET, Prime Video
Point spread: Hornets -4
Moneyline: Hornets -175, Magic +145
Total: Over 218.0 (-110), Under 218.0 (-110)

The Hornets are riding high after a thrilling 127-126 victory over the Heat Tuesday night. LaMelo Ball scored on a layup with 4.7 seconds remaining in OT, and Miles Bridges blocked a Davion Mitchell layup attempt as time expired to secure a Charlotte victory.

Things didn’t go quite as well for the Magic, who were outscored 30-23 in the fourth quarter of their Play-In game against the 76ers. Orlando wound up losing to Philly, 109-97.

Since 2021, when the current Play-In format began, there has not been much carryover for teams from the first Play-In game to the second Play-In game.

Teams coming off a win in their first Play-In game are 4-6 in the second game. Teams coming off a loss are 6-4 in their second attempt.

So, we should not expect the Magic to still be sulking from their loss to Philly on Wednesday. If anything, the defeat could serve as a wakeup call for Jamahl Mosley’s club.

Charlotte won the regular season series over the Magic, 3-1. The one Orlando win this year came way back on Oct. 30, 2025, with the Magic prevailing 123-107. The most recent meeting came on March 19, when the Hornets beat the Magic 130-111 in Charlotte. The Magic won all four meetings last season.

Charlotte is an NBA-best 50-33 against the spread this season, but the Hornets have not been kind to Over bettors this season. Games featuring the Hornets have gone Over the number just 32 times this season. Charlotte has gone Under the total 51 times.

Orlando, meanwhile, is 38-45-0 ATS this season. The Magic have gone Over the total 44 times, and Under the number 39 times.

Golden State Warriors at Phoenix Suns
Start time/TV: 10 p.m. ET, Prime Video
Point spread: Suns -3
Moneyline: Warriors +120, Suns -145
Total: Over 219.5 (-110), Under 219.5 (-110)

Steph Curry and Al Horford were partying like it was 2016 on Wednesday night as they led the Warriors to a huge 126-121 comeback victory over the Clippers. Most impressive for the Warriors was holding Kawhi Leonard scoreless in the fourth quarter until the final 16 seconds of the game.

On the flip side of the coin, the Suns suffered a fourth quarter collapse in their first Play-In game. Phoenix let an 11-point fourth quarter lead evaporate as the Trail Blazers prevailed, 114-110, Tuesday night.

This is an alarming theme for Phoenix as it heads into this do-or-die game against the Warriors. The last time the Suns played the Warriors was on Feb. 5 in Phoenix, and Jordan Ott’s squad coughed up a 14-point fourth quarter lead en route to a 101-97 Golden State victory.

Golden State won the regular season series over the Suns, 3-1.

The Suns do have one of the better against the spread records in the NBA, as they are 47-36-0. Golden State is 36-47-0 ATS.

Over bettors enjoy the Warriors as Golden State has gone Over the number 49 times this season, and Under 34 times.

Phoenix games have gone Over 37 times, and Under 46 times.
