One of the more unique events in the history of combat sports will take place on Sunday as UFC Freedom 250 will be held on the South Lawn of the White House (8 p.m. ET, Paramount+).
The highly-publicized event will be headlined by Ilia Topuria versus Justin Gaethje for the undisputed lightweight championship. The undefeated Topuria, who is riding a three-fight finishing streak, is a -600 favorite at Fanatics Sportsbook. Alex Pereira, Sean O’Malley, and controversial heavyweight Josh Hokit will also be in action.
In the boxing world, one of the top pound-for-pound fighters in the world will enter the ring this weekend as the undefeated Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez will face WBA bantamweight champion Antonio Vargas (5 p.m. ET, DAZN). The electric Rodriguez, ranked as the No. 3 pound-for-pound fighter in the world by ESPN, is looking to win a world title in a third weight class.
This bout figures as something of a tune-up match for Rodriguez, as rumors persist that Rodriguez will face the No. 1 ranked pound-for-pound boxer in the world, Naoya Inoue, in early 2027.
Rodriguez is a heavy -2800 favorite at Fanatics Sportsbook for his match against Vargas.
There is also an intriguing Real American Freestyle card this weekend, headlined by former UFC middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev squaring off against Dillon Danis (8 p.m. ET, FOX Nation).
There are no major pro wrestling shows this weekend.
